At the 2026 Italian Grand Prix, Fernando Alonso chose to pay tribute to an important figure in Spanish motorsport history: the late Adrian Campos. A former F1 driver and team principal, Campos played a key role in the early stages of Alonso’s career, discovering his talent in karting and helping him on his path to the highest level of the sport. To honour his memory, the two-time World Champion unveiled a special helmet design inspired by the iconic colours once worn by Campos. Featuring the red and yellow of the Spanish flag, the helmet is a heartfelt tribute to a man who left a lasting mark on motorsport.
