After ending a legendary career in motorcycle racing, 9-time world champion Valentino Rossi embarked on a new adventure as a full-time car driver in 2022, contesting the GT World Challenge Europe, regarded as one of the most competitive series for GT3 models.
“The Doctor,” as he is nicknamed, chose Bell Racing as the exclusive supplier of helmets for his car commitments.
The Italian driver started the campaign with the 3 Hours of Imola, discovering more and more in detail the secrets of the category and what it takes to battle with the other drivers in the Pro class.
Valentino’s best results were three fifth-place finishes, in the 1000 km of Le Castellet, in the 3 Hours of Hockenheim and in race 2 at Misano, his home track that hosted a Sprint Cup event.
The learning process came to full fruition in the 3 Hours of Barcelona, the last round on the calendar, with a noteworthy performanceresulting in an overall P6 finish together with his teammates.
